This park supposedly has a man apparition that can be seen with his dog. Legend says the man is the ghost of a horse thief from the late 1800s. The man was caught in his cabin, which is currently on the park grounds, by an angry mob who hanged him and shot his dog. Both the man and his dog are buried nearby.
