Uppertown Firefighter's Museum
Astoria, OR 97103
This building dates back to 1896 and was once a brewery, before being turned into the town's fire station. Now a museum, the building preserves the past of the towns firefighting history, and some ghosts as well! The building is reportedly haunted by a sleepwalking fireman apparition who fell and died in the 1920s. Former occupants of the building would see him standing over them as they slept, and heard lockers rattling by themselves. Employees and visitors of the museum claim to hear eerie noises and disembodied footsteps on the third floor.
