However, with great fortune comes inexplicable greed. Treachery, thievery, and even murder plagued this newfound community. Among the evilest was a man by the name of Wayne Lamont. Mr. Lamont was part of the first miners to discover gold in Southern Oregon, and he quickly capitalized on this discovery with the creation of the Rogue Mining Co. However, gold was not the only thing they discovered... Hidden deep in the Front Street Mine in downtown Medford, Mr. Lamont and his men found an ancient tomb surrounded by treasure. Not heading the many warnings, the miners opened the tomb and took the treasure, unleashing a darkness beyond their wildest nightmares and cursing the Front Street Mine and the miners within.
The screams of those settlers still live here – along historic main streets, in quiet ghost towns, on windy country roads, and, even now, in the glint of gold flakes that lie beneath the Rogue River. The town gold built and time forgot... until now.
The Rogue Mining Co. has reluctantly opened this mine shaft to the public and will be offering tours this October! Learn about the history of this mine and discover the terrors that live within. However, stray away from Shaft 13... as it is said that is the location of the cursed tomb that Wayne Lamont and his men discovered. Do you have what it takes to explore this underground nightmare?!

Review This HauntFun and spooky time!
We love a great story and immersive experience and that is exactly what this haunt brought! My family wasn’t sure what to expect going into it but we were greatly impressed with the level of detail and the actors. Would highly recommend.

This was super scary! Everyone did a great job. The props, people and entire place was great. I would definitely recommend going. Was not sure what to expect and it did not disappoint.

I have been to many haunted houses and these two were absolutely amazing. Props, setting, staff were top notch. I want to go again just to look at all the different decorations. I will be back for sure! Great job!

I thought this haunt was incredible, the scares were fairly well done and I loved the theming of the rooms. Some of the scares scared me while others were hit or miss. I would highly recommend coming to the haunted house if you are visiting medford as the haunted house is fun, short line, scary and overall well done. I would recommend.

Such a great haunt
My 3 kids loved it so much they had such a great time. The theme and actors made this one of the best hounded houses we’ve been too and would definitely recommend.

Loved this haunted house definitely deserving of the title number 1 in Oregon!! The storyline was great loved that each room fit together to make one story. It’s nothing like any haunt we have in Southern Oregon the food the friendly atmosphere and the attention to detail from the decorations in each room to the music and props outside! Loved it all hope to see what they have to offer in the next few years.

Nightmares on Rogue never fails to show up with amazing actors, stunning details & a great environment! It is evident how much time went into creating this haunt. I look forward to seeing new stories unfold over the years. I love the food trucks & photo op spots on the way to the entrance as well! Check it out!
