This saloon dates back to 1905 and operates as a concert venue as well. It has seen the likes of ZZ Top, Robert Cray and The Isley Brothers. History records say in its past days, it had a brothel upstairs and an opium den downstairs, connected to Portland’s underground tunnels that were then frequented by Chinese immigrants. The saloon received the nickname "Bucket of Blood" because of all the brawls that took place here. People have seen the apparition of a man walking down to the basement ever night after closing, or a crying prostiture who was murdered in the brothel.
