Rock Point Cemetery
Gold Hill, OR 97525
This cemetery is home to a hooded figure carrying a lantern, who vanishes when people get too close. A green fog has been reported here, along with eerie lights, sounds and some fire occasionally blazes from the crypts. People that visit the location suffer broken windows while driving and some say the hauntings are blamed on the Oregon Vortex nearby.

I love to visit cemeteries when I travel but I've never understood how people think cemeteries are creepy until I visited this one. I got scared to my core as soon as I stepped out of my car. I tried to shake off that feeling and enjoy the unique graves but I ended up having to leave. This was such a short stop on my trip I actually forgot I stopped there until a few days later when I woke up with scratches. I showed my friend and she said she thought I had something attached to me and that's when I remembered my cemetery stop. I had been having vivid nightmares for days and there were other paranormal happenings at my friend's house that had never happened before. I had taken a few pictures at the cemetery and when I started to show her the photos she also got that scary feeling. There's definitely something in this place and it's not friendly.

Multiple times over the last 20 years, I have experienced seeing a black wolf appear by the railroad tracks that border the cemetery. It typically appears at late dusk. It dashes in front of my car, runs across the road, towards the river. I hit my brakes, and once it reaches the other side of the road, it disappears.
