McMenamins Edgefield Hotel

The historic McMenamins Edgefield Hotel dates back to 1907 and originally operated as the county's poor farm. Known as the Multnomah County Poor Farm, the location once included a hospital wing where patients with tuberculosis and mental illnesses were treated. There was also a jail on site. It's no surprise that stories say the old patients still roam the grounds of the now hotel to this day.
