In 1890 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elkridge built their dream home. By the turn of the century that dream had become a nightmare.
After the untimely death of the family the home saw a series of renters from socialites to a hippy commune and finally a transients squat. Over the years stories of supernatural activity have been reported and the estate is a popular destination for paranormal investigators. Despite the stories and some unexplained disappearances no evidence of any such activity has been proven. The long abandon the home is up for auction with no reserve.
Are you brave enough to visit the Estate?

Review This HauntEmail Verified Elkridge Estate was pretty scary
It was as big haunted house spread over about 25000 square feet with lots of continuous scares and surprises. The girl with the chainsaw had scared my wife out of her wits. The walk through the Elkridge Estate was pretty scary. Creepy characters would scream at you virtually startling off your feet.. The Bloody Room was frightening as well. We liked the blue haired girl there. The furnace room was terrifying too. Satisfied with the visit. Highly recommended.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Some fabulous creepy scares
With more actors than props… this place surely had some fabulous creepy scares. It was long with loads of laughs, cries and screams.. It was evenly placed out … that the experience was even more unique and had us mulling over what to expect next. This is one place I would highly recommend. Will be back soon.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Had a good fright night
For $15, this place was definitely worth the money…. It was creepy and funny at the same time… the fact that there was a separate haunt house for kids was an added attraction. Great costume designing and amazing actors… we had a good fright night at one of the longest teime spend in haunted houses… awesome place for anybody who wants to get scared the back out. I will not miss Fear Asylum next season.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Fan of big scares?? Check this out
If you are a fan of big scares, check this place out. The Elkridge Estate was the scariest part of the visit. The creepy lady Elisabeth would scare you to hell. The other creepy sight was the cannibal rocking on the rocking chair. My GF was given a tough time by the actors. My favourite was the blue haired vamp in the bloody room. The performance of the actors was impressive throughout. The prices are reasonable. Really loved the visit. I will come again.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Nice and scary experience
It is one of the scariest haunted houses I have been to. Usually I am a bit immune to haunted house scares. The set designs and themes were well thought out. My GF favourite was the girl with the Ouija Board. She was really a wicked character. The chainsaw girl had my GF almost crying. The entire visit last up to 25 minutes. Overall, it was a nice and scary Halloween experience. A family friendly haunted house worth checking out....
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Fear Asylum is the best
Visiting haunt houses has been a New Halloween routine in our family of late… with quite a few available in Orlando…Fear Asylum is the best… I would recommend to anyone. This one I feel is the longest with a total of 31 haunts… all very well presented. I hope to visit this one next year as well.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Sincere thanks
We went though the haunted house as a family on Sunday. It was probably too soon for my eight year old son. He already had enough before the chainsaw demon terrified our entire family. Seeing that my son was upset, he dropped to a knee and offered him the chainsaw. My son gave the trigger a couple squeezes and we got a picture of him threatening the demon with the saw. Totally changed his outlook on the experience. He ended the night with a huge smile on his face. They just do things right at this place!

Absolute fun
Absolute fun! We visited Fear Asylum on a Friday night with a group of 5 and it was wonderful. The place has a perfect haunting atmosphere and it was an added advantage. Actors were in a good energetic mood and come with their best performance. All the hideouts were well utilized. Compared to last year they had a great improvement. Good effort for the entire team.

I was so impressed last weekend! The wait was long but worth the wait. My party of 5 was anxious to get in and oh boy did we get scared. Without spoiling the spots, bravo to the girl who looked completely normal but then asked to be taken with us, that was just unsettling. The blue haired girl in the bloody room was righteous, nothing jumpy but her and that room made my skin crawl. And how did those babies move???!! I've been coming for years and this was hands down the best they've done. Plus it supports charity? Everyone needs to go see Fear Asylum!!!!

That's a huuuge b!#@h!
Did yall see that really tall ghost? We saw him in the line and in the furnace room. Was it the same guy? Is he really that tall, or is he on stilts? If it is real, that dude is freaky tall! Someone get that guy a chainsaw!

Shame on me!
IMHO, what makes the furnace room so scary is that it seems so unassuming. What begins with a warm welcome from a portly caretaker quickly erupts into all out pandemonium. The quiet and empty hallway instantly becomes filled with violent noises and terror inducing creatures. Just when you think you are in the clear, a nice young woman welcomes you down another hallway. Fool me twice, shame on me!!!

Email Verified Quite intense, not for families
Be really warned, it is hell a lot of action in this haunt. You might be pushed, pulled, cursed and screamed at very badly and you will end up bruised. It is actually quite demeaning. When you have actually endured a long drive and waited for hours in the line and you enter to get scared, you actually flee from the place. They have a very good line up of artists but quite intense. It is not a good option especially when you are with your family.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: AHHHHH!
I loved everything about this haunt! It’s well thought out and the actors are so into their roles. The girl in the bathtub made me pee for sure and I loved the crazy homeless man. I would definitely recommend this haunt. Great job!

Crazy good!
The furnace room is amaze! The shoveler sets the mood and the shadow drives it home. When you think it is over, a giant multi faced monster materializes out of no where... I had to crawl out!

Email Verified Spooky fun, but long lines
Lines were not at all moving and had a long wait after a long drive which ruined the complete thrill of a haunting night. Inside it was spooky fun and had good entertainment. Actors were excellent in their cast. Price is also reasonable but main negative I felt was the long wait. If lines were properly managed with some entertainment while waiting it would be more fun. I would like to give 4 stars for the attractions and 2 stars for the long wait.
