Single Best Halloween Experience!
It was an endless maze of fear--like walking through a nightmare. Around every corner was a new scene out of a horror movie or some demented person's fantasy. I was impressed how incredibly original every "scene" and "scare" was. There was nothing predictable or boring about it, I was constantly taken by surprise! I seriously don't know who thinks up this stuff! I'm definitely going again next year.Posted 12/8/13
Great Location and Acting!!!
For a first year haunt and having little time to put together The Cottage Grove Severed Armory not only pulled off a great haunt but also were able to both work with the public as well as their volunteers in a way that was both safe and exciting. As the Haunt got closer to Halloween the acts grew in strength adding to the substance of the acts. I am looking forward to helping out again next year and can't wait to see what the owner has coming for the 2014 haunt. I am vary excited and am counting down the days. Hope to see you there.Posted 12/4/13
You Have To Go!!!
I've been to LOTS of Haunted Houses/ Corn Mazes/ Tours and this was by far one of the best! Its great for all ages. When I went I saw people there from about 3 - 50. Bring someone you're comfortable with though, because they're going to laugh at the way you scream when you're scared at the end of it all ;)Posted 11/26/13
One of the funnest things I've been to in awhile, I can wait to see what they have in store for next year! XDPosted 11/26/13
I had an amazing time going through and it was completely worth the money!! Everything looked and felt realistic going throug, excellent actors as well!! I am excited for next year!Posted 11/26/13
For being a small town it was a big event, and being able to get everything up in time using only what we could get last minute.sure it was only the first year running but that gives us a better chance of coming back bigger and better.everyone I talked to loved it and I saw people go back for seconds and even thirds. We even ran when the corn maze didn't and people loved that even more! not to mention your not waisting your money, half of what we raised goes to CGHS . Why do I keep sahing we? Well I was a volenteer in the haunt and my first time being a scarer not the scared. So please if you want bigger and better next year help us stay alive by givng us stars and pumpkins. Who knows maybe at try outs next year youll be the one scareing your family to death ....(apology for some word errors, laptop malfunctioned had to use cell)Posted 11/26/13
Sooo scary and nice price!!Posted 10/31/13
Wow I felt like I was actually in a horror movie! Great layout & actors, the place even smelled scary! Anyone who complains about this is a real cheapo, the corn maze is over twice the price & is redundant and lame! I went twice and they only charged $3 the second time so I spent $9 well worth it. Really hope this is happening next year!Posted 10/29/13
Not worth it!
No scares!!!! Best effect is the second story window projection and the lobby .Will give the operators credit, they had a long line. To light inside, not enough characters for the space.Been to many Haunts and this is the first time I am pissed about spending the money. Needs work!!!!!Posted 10/28/13
Better then the corn maze
I whent to the corn maze then went to this it was way better then the corn mazePosted 10/27/13
Great entertainment and price.Posted 10/26/13
I had a lot of fun! It seemed really short but i was definitely glad to be out, i was actually running for the exit! I wanted to go through again shortly after. I am actually going to take my nephews through tonight. It was well worth the 6 dollars and a lot of fun. I would like to know what the proceeds are going to though.Posted 10/20/13
The building Itself is so scary.... and the price?? It has to be worth it either way. I have lived in Cottage Grove my whole life and have only been in the Armory once... It's HUGE!Posted 10/2/13
I AM SHAKINGIN MY SHOES
Can't wait to check this place out! I have high expectations, the venue is super creepy!Posted 7/30/13
I AM SO SCARED OF THE CHEAP ADMISSION. CAN'T WAIT TO CHECK THIS OUT!Posted 7/14/13
Exciting, New Venue. Inexpensive!
This haunt is hosted in a large, old concrete armory in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Close enough to Eugene and Roseburg and at 6$ admission, a great value. Lots of surprises and frights. A "less haunted" version for younger kids is offered on Halloween. A must-see event!Posted 7/12/13
